CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Session on
Optoelectronic Structures &
High Bit Rates Transmission over Fiber
The scope of this special session is to focus on all aspects of optoelectronic structures and devices, design methodology, analysis methods, simulation and modeling of structure properties as well as measurements results. Special attention will be paid to the problems in high bit-rate optical transmission systems employing linear and nonlinear effects. We encourage scientists and engineers from academic or industrial environments to submit their works in order to enhance the knowledge, expertise, and experience of the whole community in implementations of optoelectronic technology.
The subject areas will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Optoelectronic components and devices
* Devices and subsystems for high bit-rate optical communications
* Modeling methods for optoelectronic and photonic structures
* Non-linear and polarization effects in fibres
* PMD emulation techniques
* Polarization control and monitoring devices
Submission:
Authors should prepare their papers according to ELMAR-2006 paper sample, convert them to PDF using IEEE PDF eXpress™ tool and submit them to e-mail address: elmar2006@tvz.hr
