encourages the exchange of ideas and experience among
different specialists engaged in research, development,
design and application in the field of marine electronics
and a wide range of related fields. The society was
established in 1959 in Zadar, Croatia. Since then, the

services, hardware & software and literature relating
to the Symposium topics. The companies whishing to
participate in the exhibition are kindley requested to
contact the Symposium Secretariat for further details.ACCOMPANYING EVENTS - An
international Workshop on video processing and multimedia
communications - VIPromCom'99 and
international University Sailing Regatta
will be organised during the ELMAR'99 Symposium. The

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL - There are good connections by aeroplane and
bus from Zagreb to Zadar. The accomodation for the
participants (and Symposium location) will be in the
hotel complex BORIK in Zadar situated in lovely pine
woods surrounded by flowering parks on a sandy-pebbly
beach. BORIK hotels are 3 km away from the town centre
