Call for Papers
ELMAR - Croatian Society
Electronics in Marine encourages the exchange of ideas
and experience among different specialists engaged in
research, development, design and application in the
field of marine electronics and a wide range of related
fields. The society was established in 1959 in Zadar,
Croatia. Since then, the scope of its activities has been
considerably expanded.SYMPOSIUM SECTIONS

· Automation (AU)CALL FOR PAPERS - Authors are
invited to submit the registration form for preliminary
registration by December 10, 1997 and full papers (5-page
limit) for review by February 15, 1998. The papers should
be written in English. Accepted papers will be published
in the Symposium Proceedings. Submission please send to:

SUPPORT PROGRAMMES - Round table
will be organized on the topic GMDSS - Potentials and
Limitations. The moderator is Prof. Ante Tićac D.Sc.Mini-exhibition facilities will be
available for firms wishing to display their products,
services, hardware & software and literature relating
to the Symposium topics. The companies whishing to
participate in the exhibition are kindley requested to
contact the Symposium Secretariat for further details.ACCOMPANYING EVENTS - An
international sailing regatta will be organised for the
participants and guests of the Symposium. Further
organisational details will be supplied in the second
announcement.

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL - There are good connections by aeroplane, rail
and bus which make Zadar a very accessible centre. The
accomodation will be in the hotel complex BORIK in Zadar
situated in lovely pine woods surrounded by flowering
parks on a sandy-pebbly beach. BORIK hotels are 3.5 km
away from the town centre and 13 km from Zadar airport.
